Go Launcher: Refreshing Combination of ADW and LauncherPro Homescreen

Go Launcher is a fresh and awesome home replacement application for your Android device. Its power packed with the functionality of two of the best Android launchers ADW Launcher, LauncherPro along with the sports features of iPhone’s launcher.

Go Launcher is more or less like Samsung’s TwLauncher with added tabs of Recent Used and Running application on the top.
Recent Use tab provide easy access to our recently used application and the the Running tab acts like a task manager showing all the running task along with the capability of killing them.

Verdict

As a newbie in the home screen application Go launcher seems to be a promising but here are the list of things that lacked.

1. Apps is sorted by “most used” instead of alphabetical order which is confusing at times.
2. Resizable Widgets not supported.
3. Doesn’t have dock background feature and lacked theme feature.
